Combatting COVID isolation in a virtual videogame world
NEW! Online lockdown drop-in
There's no getting away from it, it's going to be a tough couple of months.
Lockdowns have left people feeling isolated and cut off from their usual support networks of family and friends which has impacted on their mental health.
For the next six weeks (or however long it lasts) CancerCare will be holding weekly online drop-in sessions designed to act a social space for people to have a chat and enjoy some company for an hour.
The sessions will take place on Tuesdays at 7pm on Zoom and will be hosted by our Development & Engagement Officers Rachel and Sarah who are planning a variety of activities including bingo, pub quiz, cookery demonstration and talks from guest speakers.
If you fancy logging on and being with some friendly faces for an hour we’d love to see you, but if you just want to come and see what it’s about there’s no pressure to contribute, we’d be happy just to have you there.
