Leave a Gift in your Will

1 in 10 people CancerCare help owe support to the kindness of those who left a gift in their will.

If you are making or updating your will, please consider leaving a gift to CancerCare. Any bequest, big or small will help us to ensure that we can be here to support local people affected by cancer, now and for future generations. Leaving a gift to CancerCare is a way of safeguarding the future of our vital services so that we can be here if your family, neighbours and other members of our community need us in the future.

Making or amending your Will to leave a gift to CancerCare is one of the kindest gestures you could make. Of course, we understand that when making a Will, the needs of your family and loved ones will always come first. However, once you’ve looked after those closest to you, leaving a gift to CancerCare could make an amazing difference to the lives of many more people; people in our community whose lives are affected by cancer.

At CancerCare, we want to say thank you for every donation we receive. If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will for CancerCare, please do let us know your intentions by contacting us at CancerCare, Slynedales, Slyne Road, Lancaster, LA2 6ST or by completing the form below. We would really love the opportunity to thank you personally.

in partnership with local solicitors. All proceeds go to CancerCare North Lancashire & South Cumbria.

Making a Will is one of the most important things you can do to ensure that your wishes are carried out and that your loved ones are provided for in the future. In partnership with a number of local solicitors, we want to provide our supporters with the chance to write or amend a Will, while also supporting CancerCare’s continuing work helping local families affected by cancer.

We have partnered with local solicitors who have generously offered their services free of charge. Instead of paying the solicitors’ fees, you are invited to make a suggested donation to CancerCare of: £150 for a basic single Will £200 for a pair of mirror Wills.

If you wish to discuss any complex matters, a fee can be agreed between yourself and your solicitor outside of the CancerCare Will Writing Service. While there is no obligation to leave a gift in your Will to CancerCare when making use of our Will Writing Service, we would be extremely grateful if this is something you would consider.
