Local Charity CancerCare is on the Road to Success Thanks to Kendal Honda

carA Kendal car dealership has donated a brand new car to help local charity CancerCare raise awareness of its family support services across South Lakeland and North Lancashire.

Cox Motor Group’s Kendal Honda has kindly donated a new 1.6-litre Honda Civic to be used by the charity’s staff team to attend events, talks and presentations for the next 12 months. The car has been kitted-out with decals that feature both the charity's and Kendal Honda’s branding.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Kendal Honda has been able to support us with this very generous donation of a car for our team to use when they are out and about giving talks in the community and attending the many events we go to and organise each year. It will really help support CancerCare increase our presence in the local communities we serve.

CancerCare is a unique independent charity dedicated to helping local families affected by cancer and life limiting conditions. CancerCare serves communities across North Lancashire and South Lakeland with two centres based in Lancaster and Kendal.

With over 30 years’ experience CancerCare has worked with and helped over 22,000 local people providing free professional support services which include Counselling and a Children & Young People’s Service. CancerCare need to raise nearly £1 million to sustain their services every year.
