Cancer and its treatment can change how your body looks, works or feels. These changes can be a reminder of the cancer and its treatment. They can affect your body image, which is how you see yourself and how you feel about the way you look.

It's normal to have these feelings when coming to terms with body changes. Research has found that 3 out of 4 people that have a body change due to cancer or cancer treatment feel embarrassed about it at some stage.
