The £2.1 million target we have set ourselves is ambitious for a local charity. but with your help we know it is achievable. Reaching it will require the acquisition of funds across a spectrum of potential funding sources.
If we succeed we will be able to extend our provision and support up to 50% more local people affected by a cancer diagnosis in a year. That means around 21,000 therapy sessions could be provided to some 2,200 people each year.
If we do not succeed we will inevitably have to begin offering fewer sessions to each person or support fewer people in accessing the same level of support, and begin to run waiting lists for the most popular therapies. Any of these outcomes would be untenable.
We therefore hope that you will be able to support us in one of the capacities mentioned opposite. To maximise the tax-effectiveness of your gift to both you and CancerCare you may find it valuable to consult your usual financial advisor before deciding how best to help
If you have any questions or need more information please contact the Fundraising Department at CancerCare on 01524 381820, email jubilee.appeal@ cancercare.org.uk or contact us via the form opposite.
Remember, one in three people you know could be diagnosed with cancer in your lifetime ...
