Glyn Harris Awards
Awards are given for new writing or artwork which helps to increase understanding of the cancer experience.
There are two broad categories for the Awards. One is for personal responses from people whose lives have been affected by cancer as a patient, carer, family member, friend or observer. The other is for contributions concerned primarily with the clinical work and practice of health professionals.
The Glyn Harris Awards are judged by a panel of health and education professionals and others closely involved with supporting people with cancer.
Applications are currently being accepted for the bi-annual Glyn Harris Awards. Winning entries may be published in Rapport magazine. Closing date for entries is 30 April 2010. Information and application details can be downloaded in Adobe PDF format here:

Glyn Harris & CancerCare The late Glyn Harris was an education professional who made a major contribution to CancerCare. The Awards are provided from funds donated in his memory by his widow Joyce.
