Last year, volunteer fundraisers and committed CancerCare supporters raised over £200,000 to fund the vital services provided to local cancer patients, their families, their carers and those bereaved by cancer at Slynedales in Lancaster, The Lakes Centre in Kendal, Lancaster Royal infirmary, Furness General Hospital and on a domiciliary basis in the community of North Lancashire and South Lakeland.

There is no limit to the number of events that can be run successfully by anyone raising funds for us – from coffee mornings to casino nights, leg waxing to formal balls. We can offer all sorts of help and resources for your event if we know about it in advance so be sure to fill in an event registration form. Without the tremendous enthusiasm, imagination and energy of so many generous people we simply could not raise enough money to fund our services to the community.
