Santa Dash Kendal

This year for the first time CancerCare will be holding a Santa Dash in Kendal alongside Kendal Town Council to bring even more fun to the Christmas Light Switch-On.

On Sunday 18th November you will see Market Place filled with a flurry of red coats, white beards and reindeer antlers for the towns Santa Dash.

The dash starts from Market Place at 3pm and finished at K Village, where there will be plenty of festive cheer.
The short flat route, there and back is approximately 1.5 miles and is suitable for all ages and abilities and is fully accessible for wheelchairs and push chairs.

For those who want to make a race of it, that’s fine, but you won’t be timed. So whether you run, jog, walk, prance or jingle all the way, it’s entirely up to you, it’s really just about having some fun and getting into the festive spirit.

Santa suits for the big kids (over 11) and adults and reindeer antlers for the youngsters are both included in the registration fee which has been hugely reduced to try and get the whole town involved. Entry is £6 for Santa Suits, £3 for reindeers and under 5’s go free.

Conditions of Entry - Kendal

Places are limited and can only be guaranteed by pre-registering. The entry fee includes your Santa Suit/Reindeer Antlers, which will be available to collect at the start and are yours to keep. Please arrive to check in at least half an hour before the start. Participants accept that by taking part in the Santa dash, they do so entirely at their own risk.
