Cockerham Quarry, nr Lancaster
Set in around the picturesque village of Cockerham, the race takes in some of the areas most beautiful & historic scenery including Cocker Sands Abbey, Morecambe Bay and views out to the Bowland Fells.
The race is open to individual competitors and relay team of three persons.
All abilities welcome, Mountain Bikes recommended. Helmets compulsory, Wetsuits optional. Mementos to all finishers

Cockerham Junior Duathlon
To go alongside the main event, there is a Junior Duathlon open to 11 to 15 year olds. Why not enter? Simply download the Entry Form, fill it in and post it!
The duathlon will be run in two categories, one for 11 to 13 yrs inc. and one for 14 to 15 yrs inc and will consist of run 1k, bike ride 3k (all off road), run 400m.
28th Aug 11, Start time is 12.30pm. Entry fee £5
