CancerCare will be opening its Lakes Centre doors (Blackhall Road Kendal) to everyone on the 9th March, 10am - 4pm.

CancerCare is holding its annual Book Fair at The Lakes Centre, Blackhall Road, Kendal on Saturday 9th March.

This year we are very excited to be joined by Taffy Thomas MBE, The Storyteller. Taffy has a repertoire of more than 300 stories, collected mainly from traditional oral sources, which he is happy to tell in almost any situation.

Taffy will be joining us at 1pm and story lovers of all ages are welcome to come along to listen. Taffy's book will be available on the day and he will be happy to sign a copy for you. If you've never heard one of Taffy's stories this is a magical opportunity not to be missed.

As well as the sale of books, there will be tea, coffee, homemade cakes, plants & pre-loved clothes for sale.
