CancerCare wants to develop a special relationship with one person within as many workplaces as possible in North Lancashire and South Lakeland.

If you have answered yes to any of these questions why not help raise money for CancerCare! With your help we hope to transform your working day.

Where do you need to work?

Any place of work is just ideal! Be it a huge organisation with hundreds of staff or an office with just a few fellow workers, it doesn’t matter if it is a factory, a school, an office, a café, a hospital, a school or a local shop we would love for you to come on board.

How much time will it take?

How much time you can spare and how involved you become is entirely up to you. Look at our ideas of how you can help and only get involved with those you have the time for.

Spread the word: - Tell everybody about CancerCare, our services and our events – by word of mouth, posters and leaflets, intranet, email or your staff magazine.
Collection Boxes: - Place one of our collection boxes in your reception, canteen or counter.
Guess the Name of the Bear: - We will provide the Bear and the sheet of names.
Recycling: - We can turn your unwanted mobile phones, bras and used stamps into valuable funds for CancerCare
Dress Down Day: - Charge colleagues to come to work in casual clothes.
Raffle: - Hold a raffle - we can help with tickets and prizes.
Volunteer: - Encourage other members of staff to volunteer at our events e.g. Be a collector on CancerCare Day or a marshal at one of our walks or runs.
