Cross Bay Half Marathon

The 5th annual Cross Bay Challenge will take place on Sunday 6th June leading runners across Morecambe Bay, from Flookburgh in Cumbria to Hest Bank in Lancashire, against the stunning backdrop of the Lake District peaks. This unique half marathon is thought to be the only race in the world that crosses a tidal bay and it certainly lives up to its title of a challenge...

Cross Bay Walk

For those of you a little less ambitious we also hold a 6 mile walk across the bay, departing from Silverdale and finishing at Hest Bank in time to cheer the half marathon runners through the finish line. This is a family friendly event; accompanied children and dogs on leads are welcome.
